Hundreds have been turned away from the GV Health COVID-19 testing site – including people potentially exposed to the virus – amid a blow out in waiting times.
The wait for tests at the hospital and the Shepparton Showgrounds was six hours long as people sheltered from the heat with umbrellas and hospital staff handed out sunscreen.
You can be certain that not one of these people is actually sick, not even a runny nose or a cough. It’s all happening because, as the lamestream media will breathlessly tell you in very great detail… a truck driver visited Chadstone shopping centre in Melbourne and got infected from a butcher, the butcher had got the virus from his cleaner (person of brown/yellow alert), the truck driver then went on truckin, to Kilmore, and then Shepparton, and visited various shops in these towns – they will list them all – and that’s why all these lemmings are lining up to find out whether they’re going to die soon of the Wu Tang Flu. Or maybe (hopefully) they know it’s a sham but they want to test positive because they know they’ll be given $1500 to sit at home for two weeks watching tv, or “isolating”.
But if one or a few of them test positive it will be trumpeted by the media as NEW CASES and Dan Andrews will shake his head at his daily presser (the maniac’s been doing them over 100 days straight now) and say “YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES” and actually expecting 7 million people to do this forever with no exceptions. Whereas in proper medical terms a “case” is someone who presents to a hospital or clinic because he is sick, and usually it’s going to be a lot more than the sniffles. What these Shepp people would be is just infections (maybe, if the test is actually accurate).
Admittedly in some circumstances it might be useful to know if you are infected so you can stay away from elderly people, but it should be the government’s main focus to protect those most vulnerable, above all the nursing homes, than to worry about healthy younger folks walking around with it. Those elderly who aren’t in nursing homes, can self-isolate if they want to, no one will stop them and they can be given whatever support they need like deliveries of food or whatever.
We wish the Dan Bus had parked itself at this gay AIDS testing site in Shepparton, instead of in the deserted CBD of Melbourne:
