No, journalist Kerry O’brien is not considering transitioning to womanhood, and feels entirely comfortable in his body as it is, no mutilation or drugs required. While some have noted that he doesn’t even need to change his name, as “Kerry” works just fine both ways, our insider contacts in Canberra have assured us that Kerry has not been of late more openly than usual “experimenting” with his gender identity and is not close to coming out as the woman he may have always been. Fact Check: FALSE.
There is another rumour, put about mostly by One Nation politician Mark Latham, the eponymous founder of the far right ideology known as “esoteric Lathamism”, that Kerry, being of Irish blood, is a drunkard, whereas again we are reliably informed that he is an entirely reformed Irishman.
This is all getting tiresome and we don’t even like Kerry O’Brien but we have integrity and are not going to stand for all this misinformation being willy nillied, so to be absolutely clear:
- Transwoman? NO Man’s Man? YES
- Drunkard? NO Teetotaler? YES
These issues aside for the moment and in other Kerry O’Brien news he, – not she, or they, – has rejected the Australia Day honour he was due to receive today, Jan. 26, because it makes him saddy waddy that tennis great and very devout woman Margaret Court is also being honoured, and in his traditional pompous way of blathering he says:
I believe the decision to award Australia’s highest honour to Margaret Court may serve to erode the hard-fought gains made over decades in reducing the impact of discrimination against members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Kerry has always been very principled in his advocacy and promotion of aberrant sexual and lifestyle choices, and has never tolerated those who object to the normalisation of such things, and it is not the case that on Lateline on Fri 18 Dec 2009 he interviewed the notorious self hating lesbian bigot politician Penny Wong, who at the time was virulently, almost violently, opposed to same sex marriage.
O’Brien would never have consented to give airtime on the ABC of all places to one with such pre-historic and hurtful views, as he knew that this is exactly what led to the Nahtzis sending several millions of LGBTQWOOHOOWTF people to the gas chambers. He knew that it was the LGBTQWOOHOOWTF people that they came for first, more or less, give or take, and that’s how these things always start, and he wasn’t going to allow what the Nahtzis did to repeat itself here.
This was also something we felt really needed clearing up about Kerry, there seems to be a lot of people who are very unfair about him. We will keep our eye on him, and make sure no one gets away with defaming him in similar outrageous ways.
