In previous protests against lockdowns, and now the ones against vaccine mandates, there has been a lot of hostility towards news crews, due to the mainstream media’s bald faced bias against the protesters.
Some minor, humourous violence against reporters during the construction worker protests a few months ago:

(The reporter in that first one is kind of a phag, but is rare in that he has actually been fair in his attitude to the protesters’ concerns and talks to them.)
These are scenes of news crews getting chased away in Melbourne last week, Sky News, and Channel Seven:

Something big has changed this week in their attitude though, and the following three reports, from Channel 7 Adelaide, Sky Melbourne, and Channel 9 Melbourne, are mostly pretty good and fair:
Is this more balanced reporting? From Channel 7. ๐ณ

Melbourne's protest movement refuses to slow down.
City streets have been swarmed, as tens of thousands rallied against the State Government's proposed pandemic bill and vaccine mandates. @ajhegarty9 #9News pic.twitter.com/ttWBv4XZ5S

So that’s a not insignificant positive, as there are hordes of people who just sit and stare blankly at their tv screens and will adopt whatever the approved media narrative is about any issue. The newspapermen can still burn in hell though.
