The Brittany Higgins saga has spluttered back into life (only noticed because the site has been receiving an avalanche of traffic to some old posts, mostly about the matter at hand), with the formal charging of 26 year old Bruce Lehrmann with one count of “sexual intercourse without consent”, what is known as RAPE, which carries max. 12 years sentence in the ACT.
So far the only interesting thing is that Bruce is denying that any kind of sexual activity took place at all on that fabled morning of Saturday, March 23, 2019, in the Before Times, in the romantic setting of Parliament House, Canberra, which until this day the Chinese have yet to flatten.
The prosecution is going to have to prove the nitty gritty of it, and there won’t be any forensic evidence presumably, and Lehrmann’s barrister John Korn, who specialises in defending sexual assault cases, no doubt knows what he’s up to here. (Or of course he’s simply arguing the truth.)
So we will find out how Britters just nodded off stark naked, to be found in the morning by a security guard apparently undistressed, among other things.
It’s fascinating and important stuff and we don’t promise to keep you updated on it, at least unless there is some particularly salacious detail involved.
Iif her story is true then she is entirely to blame.
After all we are assured by followers of the Quran that wantonly displaying your goodies is akin to the laying out of meat before cats.
