The ABC’s take on the 1987 song “I am, you are, we are Australian”.It is well and cleverly done, and a great rendition of the song, but interesting to see the representation of Australians, with heavy focus on
- obligatory part Aborigine
- presentable ethnics
- broken families
Most prominent are the middle class Karens and AWFLs, affluent white female liberals, who are likely the national broadcaster’s main audience, or even more likely, the ABC workforce’s main demographic.
